ASUS has a successful line of smartphones under the Zenfone brand, and after launching the Zenfone 8 series last year, the company is ready to launch its successor, the ASUS Zenfone 9 series.

While the company has not yet officially confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Zenfone 9 smartphone, a new report has revealed the date when the device will become official.

According to the released teaser by Mishaal Rahman, the upcoming ASUS Zenfone 9 will be officially unveiled on July 28. It is not yet known whether only this smartphone or a series will be released. The company recently shared a teaser revealing that the smartphone will have a smaller or compact form factor similar to its predecessor. The device will be available in four colors – red, white, blue and black.

According to reports, the Zenfone 9 is expected to feature a 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

The phone will have up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. There will be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera sensor on the back, while the phone will have a 12-megapixel front-facing sensor. The device will run the Android operating system with the company’s own user interface as it comes out of the box. It will be powered by a 4300mAh battery and will have 30W fast charging support.
