Redmi is getting closer to the most efficient smartphone in the company line with the flagship single-chip system Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+, which will be part of the Redmi K50 series. Other sources make it clear that the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ smartphone will launch in June this year.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ uses a three-cluster “1 + 3 + 4” architecture consisting of an ultra-large Cortex X2 core, a large Cortex A710 core, and a small Cortex A510 core. The processor frequency is 2.99 GHz. The mobile platform will be based on 4 nanometer TSMC process technology.

The Redmi K50 Pro+ is expected to get a 2K OLED display that can support a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will receive stereo speakers, protection from dust and moisture, as well as 120-watt charging and wireless charging support.
