Gaming smartphones have better performance features than non-gaming devices. However, some flagship smartphones are equipped enough to work as gaming devices. The gaming test between the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and the iPhone 13 Pro Max showed stunning results. The gaming test showed that the Xiaomi 12S Ultra outperformed the iPhone 13 Pro Max in various categories.

A-series iPhones make a significant contribution to iPhone performance, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max takes it one step further. iPhones have traditionally offered higher performance than Android phones, but Android chipsets seem to be catching up slowly. A gaming test published by Golden Reviewer showed that the Xiaomi 12S Ultra is a better gaming device than the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The analyst puts Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone ahead of the crowd between Android and Apple smartphones.

The phone’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset looks set to transform performance. It’s a huge improvement over its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and other chips. Rigorous testing showed that the 12S Ultra runs at a higher frame rate (588fps on average) than any other top smartphone of 2022. It also didn’t overheat when running at very high frame rates. This was one of the enhancements on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The smartphone was the coolest among all reviewed smartphones. These include flagships from Apple and Samsung, including the iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone SE 2022 and Galaxy S22 Ultra.

It has been noted that the iPad Mini 6 running on the A15 Bionic chipset displays a higher frame rate than the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. It will be interesting to take a look at the Geekbench listing for the 12S Ultra and see how it performs against other flagships. The 12S Ultra has a larger main camera sensor than most phones, a 6.73-inch OLED panel, and 67W charging support for its 4860mAh battery.
