Xiaomi is issuing a security patch for Mi A3 worldwide from July 2022. The Mi A3 was launched three years ago and is Xiaomi’s latest Android One smartphone. This could be the penultimate support update for the device. Mi A3 will join the unsupported list after the latest software update.

Mi A3 came with Android 9.0 Pie and was upgraded to Android 11 in its own time. During its three years of existence, the software has been updated regularly. Xiaomi has promised three years of security patches and updates for the device. Now it is on the verge of fulfilling this promise within three years. 8MB download will update Mi A3 to July 2022 security patch. Eligible Mi A3 smartphones will receive the July 2022 security patch via over-the-air (OTA) update. Phone settings will provide necessary information about the current patch. Alternatively, users can download updates using Xiaomi Firmware Updater. Mi A3 models in Europe were last updated in June 2022.
