A beast with up to 18GB of RAM

The Nubia Z40S Pro is a more profiled mobile phone than its predecessor. We went from a curved screen to a flat mobile phone. The rear camera module has been redesigned to make it more compact. It’s a mobile phone with a simpler design, but inside it hides tremendous power worthy of the most advanced mobile phones of the moment.

Nubia presents a panel 6.67 inch OLED with FullHD+ resolution and high refresh rate of 144Hz. It has a hole in the central display, a fingerprint reader under the same panel, compatibility with HDR10 and a maximum brightness level of up to 1,000 nits. It’s one of the less edged mobile phones with a screen ratio reaching 94.8%.

Inside is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 along with various storage and RAM options. The base model comes with 128GB and 8GB of RAM, but the most advanced model reaches 1TB of UFS 3.1 and adds up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Some numbers are hard to see even among the most expensive cell phones today.

It has a 3.062 mm2 steam chamber for cooling, and we have two options for the battery. with a foundation 5,000mAh and 80W fast charging and a slightly less battery, 4,600 mAh, but a more advanced one with 120W fast charging.

At the photography level, the Nubia Z40S Pro includes a 64-megapixel main sensor. About Sony IMX787 with f/1.6 aperture lens, OIS and 35mm. The triple camera configuration is complemented by an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor with 116º wide-angle and 50-megapixel optical image stabilization.

In the case of the wide-angle sensor, it also allows macro images up to 2 centimeters. On the front, a 16-megapixel sensor is added and complemented by Nubia’s NEOVision technology for image processing.

As for the connection, nothing is missing. We have NFC, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and USB-C. The device was presented in China and comes with a customization layer MyOS 12 alongside Android 12.

Versions and price of Nubia Z40S Pro

The Nubia Z40S Pro comes in multiple configurations based on RAM and storage as well as battery. The mobile phone was presented in China and presented as: cheapest high end with new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1Slightly cheaper than the recently introduced Realme GT 2 Master Edition.
