Therefore, according to Fedorov, they have already agreed to purchase 78 Matrice multirotors operating on the basis of artificial intelligence. This helps them record high-quality and detailed videos, focus on targets and identify potential hazards from afar. “Birds” will help our soldiers navigate the battlefield better and act more thoughtfully and tactically.

In addition to a number of helicopters, it was also decided to purchase 2 ground complexes for 20 Warmate kamikaze attack aircraft, which will be purchased thanks to the monobank initiative.

Briefly about Fly Eye

Fly Eye is an unmanned aircraft complex developed by Flytronic engineers, a subsidiary of WB Electronics. It was presented for the first time at the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris on 14 June 2010. As early as the end of 2010, WB Electronics won a tender to supply this complex to one of Poland’s special-purpose units.

A few words about Warmate

Warmate kamikaze drones are also a development from WB Electronics, first presented in 2014. According to the manufacturer, these drones are a good alternative to guided anti-tank missiles. They can destroy enemy equipment at greater distances and simplify the process of identifying and influencing targets compared to ATGMs.

And finally – Matrix

We’re talking about the commercial DJI Matrice 300 RTK quadcopter, which can probably stay in the air for almost an hour. The quadcopter has a six-way positioning system and obstacle avoidance. The drone body is protected against water according to the IP45 standard.

About the “Army of Drones” initiative
