Google’s app store for Android devices Play Storecelebrated its tenth anniversary. The Play Store, which has made it possible to download countless applications on billions of devices and today hosts tens of thousands of applications, also hosted a major change special for its tenth anniversary.

Google shared a blog post for the anniversary of the Play Store, recording selected milestones in the app store’s history. In the article, which lists the important changes that the Play Store has undergone from 2012 to 2022, the application store new logo was also announced. The new Play Store logo was as follows:

The new Play Store logo, unlike the minus logo, has more recognizable colors. The new logo, free of bright colors, also consists of a triangle with more rounded corners.
