Fans of Samsung’s foldable phones have been blessed with a new batch of press renders featuring the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 4. These leaked renders are believed to be official and show the final design of the foldable phone along with four basic color options.
The four color options are Graphite, Rose Gold, Purple (released for the Galaxy S22 earlier this week) and Blue. All seem to have a matte finish and a dual-tone scheme, thanks to the coverage of the screen.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be a much brighter device in certain markets where Samsung will sell the Bespoke Edition. Last year, the Bespoke Edition Z Flip 3 received more than 40 color combinations. This year, the soon-to-be bespoke Galaxy Z Flip 4 features over 900 color combinations. If true, that means the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be the brightest phone in the world today.
In addition to the exterior design, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 should offer the expected annual updates without deviating too much from its original formula. The device should come with a newer chipset i.e. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, 8GB RAM and 128/256/512GB internal storage.
The diagonal of the foldable AMOLED panel will be 6.7 inches, and the diagonal of the Cover Screen will be 1.9 inches. The phone should run Android 12 and One UI 4.1.1 and Samsung will announce it on August 10 at Unpacked.
Earlier rumors suggested that the Korean tech giant might want to lower the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s starting price after redesigning the hinge and other components, but new reports suggest that the foldable phone may actually be slightly more expensive than the 2021 model. We’ll find out more about Unpacked next month. Source
