Horizon Cavorite X5 is an eVTOL that combines elements of classic airplanes, quadcopters and transforming vehicles. The patented system consists of fixed wings and built-in fans hidden under each wing, as in conventional airplanes. In cruise mode, the Cavorite X5 relies on the same mechanisms as other electric airplanes and engages the rotors during takeoff and landing.

According to Horizon founder Brandon Robinson, using such a scheme has given eVTOL several advantages. First of all, ultra-low bias resistance.
