More details are starting to emerge as the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in August approaches. While we’ve only seen visuals before, today marks the full launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Foldables.
Our best look at the upcoming smartphones comes courtesy of Evan Blass, who posted the leak on 91Mobiles. While there isn’t much to get excited about in terms of design, it’s great to see all the phones before they officially launch. In renders, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 can be seen in three colors: black, gold and navy blue. Available in four colors – Black, Rose Gold, Light Blue and Purple – the Galaxy Z Flip 4 also has a better aesthetic. Samsung had previously revealed the Bora Purple hue when it launched the new Galaxy S22 color scheme. He also hinted that the color would appear on future gadgets.
Specifically, Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor system, which is built on TSMC’s leading 4nm node and provides 30% more battery life than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. It has 256GB and 512GB capacities and will be combined with 12 or 16GB RAM.
The optical features of the smartphone include a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide unit and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom. The front-facing camera on the outer screen will be 10 megapixels, while the camera on the inner screen will be 16 megapixels under the screen. In addition to this, the gadget is said to have a 4,400mAh battery with 25W fast charging and will run One UI based on Android 12.
