Within the scope of the “Army of Drones” project, a large number of drones prepared to be sent to the front were purchased. Fedorov also noted that talks are ongoing with Ukrainian drone manufacturers to purchase them for the “Drone Army” in the future.

One of the best among the drones shown FLyEye. Its flight range is 160 kilometers, and its radius is 50 kilometers. The maximum speed that the drone can develop is 120 km/h. According to Fedorov, such “birds” will allow scouts to get behind enemy lines and obtain important information.

In addition, DJI Matrice 300 drones to assist the Armed Forces are small but very maneuverable drones with powerful cameras and thermal cameras. Warriors will have additional eyes and strengthen intelligence.

The minister also mentioned several Ukrainian drones for the “Dron Army” with manufacturers, about which negotiations are underway on the purchase:

• Ukrjet is one of the largest mass-produced UAVs in Ukraine. It can stay in the air for about 10 hours and fly 150 kilometers away from the operator.
• SKIF with a camera that works offline.
• Skyton, which can stay in the sky for up to 20 hours.

Mykhailo Fedorov noted that 755 million hryvnia has already been collected for “Army of Drones” through the UNITED24 platform. At the end of August, the project plans to close the first mission – to purchase 200 reconnaissance aircraft. The minister also expressed confidence that thanks to the development of military technology, more initiatives will appear in Ukraine, which will make the Ukrainian army one of the most technological armies in the world.
