Xiaomi has officially announced its best flagship smartphone, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition. It was previously rumored that the new device in the series would be called Redmi K50 Ultra or Redmi K50S Pro, but now we know its correct name.

Xiaomi’s latest flagship under the Redmi brand will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, as the teaser says. The Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is scheduled to launch this month.

Lu Weibing, president of Redmi, stressed that it will be “an excellent masterpiece combining all the advanced technologies of Redmi”, as well as the most prolific smartphone in the history of the brand.

Yesterday, a well-known person under the pseudonym Digital Chat Station published the test results of the smartphone, which scored 1120691 on the popular test application AnTuTu. It is worth adding that the Asus ROG Phone 6 scored about 1.11 million, and the Xiaomi 12S Ultra – 1.1 million.
