Winfuture, the German source behind the well-known insider Roland Quandt (Roland Quandt), has published all the specs of the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. The premiere of the new product will take place in just two days, but already now you can evaluate all the parameters – and taking into account the price.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have two screens. The most interesting is of course the internal flexible Dynamic AMOLED 2X with 7.6 inches diagonal, 2176×1812 pixels (Quad HD+) resolution and under-screen camera. The protection of this screen will be provided by tempered glass Gorilla Glass Victus Plus.

The external display is also AMOLED with a diagonal of 6.2 inches and a resolution of 2316×904 pixels. In both cases, the frame rate is 120 Hz.

The hardware platform is based on SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The amount of RAM in all configurations is 12 GB and the memory is LPDDR5X. The amount of flash memory is 256 or 512 GB. A variant with 1TB flash memory will be sold in some countries.

The software platform of the smartphone is Android 12. Samsung will once again improve the capabilities of the multi-window interface – the company wants to make working with a smartphone as convenient as on laptops. Thus, users will be able to freely move programs between external and internal screens, and simultaneously display up to three windows (applications) on the widescreen.

The main camera of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have three modules. The main one has a 50-megapixel sensor, wide-angle lens and optical stabilization system. Additional – a module with a 12-megapixel sensor and an ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as a sensor module with a resolution of 10 MP, a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and an OIS system. Front camera – with 10 megapixel sensor.

Other features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold include two slots for SIM cards, eSIM, IPX8 protection (i.e. practically maximum protection against water ingress for consumer devices), 5G modem, Wi-Fi 802.11ax and Bluetooth 5.2 adapters, NFC chip taking. , stylus S-Pen (optional).

The battery capacity will be 4400 mAh, it will support 25 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging. The dimensions of the device are 155.1×67.1×15.8 mm when folded, and 155.1×130.1×6.3 mm when unfolded. Weight – 254 grams.

According to the source, the basic version of the smartphone will cost 1,800 euros, while the variant with 512 GB of flash memory will cost 1,900 euros. The cost of the top version with 1 TB of flash memory is not yet known. After its premiere on August 10, a long pre-order period will begin, with retail sales of the new product in Europe starting on August 25.
