Design
There is not much difference between the designs of these three phones. The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is less impressive as it features a teardrop-shaped cutout instead of an elegant punch-hole display. The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is the most interesting, as it has a punch-hole screen and the same design as the Galaxy A73 5G, but more compact due to the smaller screen. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is thinner and lighter. Unfortunately, these phones are not made of premium materials: they have a polycarbonate body like budget phones. But they’re all waterproof with IP67 certification, which isn’t easy to find on mid-range phones.
Screen
The most advanced screens are the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A73 5G and are on the same level. These two phones have Super AMOLED panels with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD + 1080 × 2400 pixel resolution, as well as Gorilla Glass 5 protection and an on-screen fingerprint scanner. The only significant difference between the two screens is the diagonal: the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has a 6.5-inch screen, and the Galaxy A73 5G has a wider 6.7-inch panel. The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is lower, but not by much: it has a lower refresh rate of 90 Hz, a smaller 6.4-inch diagonal and a teardrop-shaped cutout.
Equipment
If you need the most powerful phone, choose the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G. This is actually the only smartphone running on the Snapdragon 778G mobile platform, which is more powerful than the Samsung Exynos 1280 installed on the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G. The high-end memory configuration of these phones is the same: 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory that can be further expanded with a micro SD card. The entire trio is running Android 12 with One UI 4.1 coat.
Cell
The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is equipped with the best main camera: an excellent 108 MP sensor with OIS. Right after, we got a Galaxy A53 5G with 64 MP and OIS main sensor. Galaxy A33 5G is in last place with 48 MP sensor, but still has OIS. The A53 5G and A73 5G are also equipped with an improved wide-angle camera (8 MP versus the 12 MP installed on the A33 5G). And finally, they have the best 32-megapixel camera (versus 13-megapixel).
battery
Battery capacity and fast charging technology are the same: 5000 mAh and 25 watts, respectively.
