Xiaomi has released a new poster ahead of its big event dedicated to the announcement of new devices. The poster shows for the first time the new Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 smartphone posing next to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

The image of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 confirms that it will have a different rear design compared to its predecessor. The device has three image sensors, an LED flash and a horizontal camera unit with Leica lettering. On the right side of the smartphone are the volume buttons and the power/lock button with a built-in fingerprint scanner.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is expected to be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 single-chip system. The internal screen is expected to be 8 inches. The screen resolution will be 2.5K, the maximum refresh rate will be 120 Hz. The diagonal of the external display will be 6.5 inches and will support a reasonable refresh rate.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 will receive a professional Surging C1 image processing chip. The main model will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The device, which will ship with Android 12 with MIUI 13 skin, will be announced tomorrow and the phone is only 5.4mm thick. Source
