Folding day. Yesterday, Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. Xiaomi followed them up with the new Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 and now Motorola is officially presenting the Moto Razr 2022. This is the successor to the first Moto Razr, now playing at high range and more ambitious.

Power overdose and secondary display

This new Moto Razr 2022 comes with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the best Qualcomm processor with TSMC process. The processor is accompanied by 8 and 12 GB RAM configurations with 128 GB base memory. We can upgrade to 256 or 512 GBthe same configurations we found on the Samsung Z Fold4 for example.

The battery is a bit scarce, as we are used to seeing in such devices. we talk about 3,500mAh with 33W fast charging, the figure that will have to prove whether the device is enough for 6.7 inches. The format is similar to that seen on the previous Razr: Clamshell with a vertically folding panel.

When the mobile is folded, we find a secondary screen of 2.7 inches. This has a lower resolution than the main screen and refreshes at 60 Hz instead of the 144 Hz of the main screen. More focused so we can see notifications and interact lightly with the phone.

Finally, this fold dual camera 50 + 12 megapixels, with ultra wide angle as secondary camera. Selfie is 32 megapixels. Of course, it comes with Android 12 personalized with Motorola’s lightweight overlay.

Versions and price of Moto Razr 2022

The Moto Razr 2022 was offered in China at a price of 898 euros to vary. If it reaches Spain, it will be seen how the price after taxes will be. Its direct competitor exceeds 1,000 euros, and this Razr is unlikely to fall below that figure.
