A list of possible Huawei Mate 50 specifications has been published on the Internet, and at least one point looks interesting – it concerns the display: the smartphone connects to an OLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K.

We will remind you that the recently presented Redmi K50 Extreme Edition received a 1.5K screen – its resolution is 2712×1220 pixels. Xiaomi emphasizes that visually such a matrix is ​​very close to models with 2K resolution, but at the same time consumes less energy.

And here a very similar OLED display with a resolution of 2800×1225 pixels can be taken by the Huawei Mate 50, the base model of the new Huawei flagship series. It is reported that the supplier of the display will be BOE and the frame rate will be 120 Hz. Perhaps screens with 1.5K resolution will soon begin to replace Full HD+ panels en masse.

Huawei Mate 50 also has triple camera with 50 MP primary sensor, SoC Snapdragon 888 4G, 8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB flash memory. Of course, HarmonyOS 3.0 will play the role of the operating system. The official premiere of Huawei Mate 50 smartphones is expected in September.
