New models of sophisticated Samsung smartphones have appeared on store shelves, as some users have already found unconventional ways to customize them. For example, a Galaxy Z Fold 4 owner has turned his device into a Windows Phone. Of course, not literally. The smartphone still runs on Android, but its interface looks completely different.

YouTube blogger Mark Spurrell (Mark Spurrell) has posted a video where he tells and demonstrates how the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will look like a Windows Phone on the external display and a full-fledged Windows PC on the internal display. It sounds complicated, but it really only requires two Android launchers and a bit of Bixby tweaking. The result is a cluttered phone that displays familiar Windows Phone tiles when closed and a normal OC Windows interface when opened.

According to Blogger, you can easily customize, move and resize the tiles to make them look the same as on Windows Phone. Sperrell even managed to set up familiar gestures for quick access to some functions, such as launching the camera.

Inside, the feeling is completely different. Opening the Galaxy Z Fold 4 opens a Windows 10-like desktop with the usual shortcuts and Start menu with all installed programs. In the lower right corner are clock and calendar widgets, a shortcut for quick access to system settings, and the notification bar. In general, the blogger is satisfied with the result and says that he expected worse.
