Nokia bets on ecology (and photography)
As we mentioned above, Nokia wanted the X30 5G to highlight much more than its technical features. The company is responsible for the frame of the terminal. Made from 100% recycled aluminum and the back is 65% recycled plastic. Additionally, they point out that the focus on packaging allows them to reduce the ecological footprint of the terminal.
The cardboard box is made of 70% recycled paper and is smaller excluding the charger. In this way, Nokia states that it can carry more phones in the same space, which means a reduction in CO2 emissions. The absence of a charger also provides a solution to the electronic waste problem.
Internally, the Nokia X30 5G features the Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, a mid-range Qualcomm offering that we see arriving at the end of 2021, lagging behind the Snapdragon 778G+ 5G in terms of performance. you can choose versions 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and 8GB RAM and 256GB to store.
Speaking of the battery, it has a capacity of 4,200 mAh and supports 33 W fast charging, but we will have to buy a separate USB-C charger as it is not included in the package. Remember Apple’s move to stop including this accessory? Now it is copied by many manufacturers, each with its own arguments.
The fact is that besides the building materials, another of the interesting points of the Nokia X30 5G is located in the photography section. The terminal has a main camera. 50MP PureView with optical image stabilization and 3MP ultra-wide angle, both protected by Gorilla Glass.
In the display section, a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2400), 90 Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness, which is very important when describing the use of the terminal to consume content and calculate its size in your pocket. 700 nits. This is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
