HMD Global announced four new Nokia devices today at the IFA trade show in Berlin. The company has announced three new smartphones and a new tablet. Alongside the mid-range smartphones Nokia X30 5G and Nokia G60 5G 一 5G, the brand introduced an affordable 4G phone, the Nokia C31. The company also announced a new affordable Android tablet.
The Nokia X30 5G is made of 100% recycled aluminum and 65% recycled plastic. The G60 5G is also made from 100% recycled aluminum and 60% recycled plastic. Both of these devices are powered by Qualcomm SoC. All new Nokia smartphones also come with the GoPro Quik editing app.
Nokia X30 5G, Nokia G60 5G, Nokia C31 and Nokia T21 tablet: price and availability
The Nokia X30 5G is available in Cloudy Blue or Ice White, starting at €529. The Nokia G60 5G comes in pure black or ice gray and starts at €319. The affordable Nokia C31 starts at 129 euros and will be available in mint, charcoal and blue colors. Finally, the Nokia T21 comes in charcoal gray and starts at €239.
Nokia X30 5G: technical specifications
The Nokia X30 5G has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The X30 G is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is backed by a 4200mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In the camera department, there is a 16MP selfie camera and a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide lens on the back.
It also runs Android 12 with three years of operating system and guaranteed security updates. Other features include Corning Gorilla Glass camera protection and 5G support.
Nokia G60 5G: technical specifications
The Nokia G60 5G has a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also powered by Snapdragon 695 5G processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is powered by a 4500mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. Coming to the camera, there is a 50MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth sensor. Selfies are processed by the 8 MP camera.
On the software front, this phone runs on Android 12 with three guaranteed OS updates. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, 3.5mm jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, it weighs 190 grams and is 8.61mm thick.
Nokia C31: Features
The most affordable smartphone of this trio, the Nokia C31 is equipped with an octa-core Unisoc processor clocked at 1.6 GHz. The phone has a 6,745 inch HD+ display with 2.5D tempered glass. It is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Coming to the camera, it has a 13MP main camera, a 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro lens. The phone is equipped with a 5 megapixel selfie camera.
Other features include Android 12, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, 5050mAh battery, micro USB charging port, 10W charging, face unlock and micro SD card support up to 256GB.
Nokia T21 tablet: specifications
The Nokia T21 is the successor to the T20 and the new T21 tablet is powered by a Unisoc T612 processor with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The Nokia tablet has a 10.3 inch 2K display with active pen support. The tablet has 8 megapixel cameras on both the front and back panels. The T21 packs an 8,200mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Other key features include Type-C port, microSD card support up to 512GB, stereo speakers, IP52 rating and weight of 465.5 grams. The device runs on Android 12 and is promised to receive 2 OS updates. Source
