This week, the DxOMark lab published the results of testing the Xiaomi 12S Ultra camera phone, the flagship with Leica camera, which entered the top five in the global rating with 138 points. At the same time, last year’s Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra takes third place in this ranking with 143 points.
After the publication of the article, DxOMark received many messages where users want to talk about the main differences between Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in terms of camera features.
The DxOMark lab has identified four main differences:
- Shutter lag: The image clarity of the two autofocus devices is the same, but the lag of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra is longer
- Texture/noise balance: Under different shooting conditions, the noise of the model's face is more pronounced on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra;
- Consistency between preview and final image is better than last year's Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
- Bokeh effect is better on Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
In general, the Xiaomi Mi 12S Ultra showed good results in terms of color, exposure, focus and other parameters. DxOMark said it's one of the best camera phones. Earlier, DxOMark CEO Frédéric Guichard said that the company does not sell points and places in its ranking. Source
