Having licensed Nokia phones, HMD Global may not have had a smooth journey in the smartphone market, but the company is a leading brand in feature phones. The tech giant has launched a new feature phone in India in an attempt to increase its market share. Nokia 5710 XpressSound.

The new Nokia 5710 XpressAudio was previously launched in China and comes as a 4G capable phone with several features. The new phone has a retro design that carries the atmosphere of the XpressMusic series. HMD Global has gone a step further by including wireless earbuds that are housed in a special compartment with a sliding lid.

In terms of specifications, the new phone has a 2.4-inch QVGA display and is powered by the Unisoc T107 chipset. The phone has music control buttons on the left and right of the screen. Also under the screen is the classic T9 keyboard and 0.3 MP rear camera with LED flash.

The stylish phone also packs good speakers and a large, removable 1,450mAh battery that can last for weeks in standby mode. The phone also has a solid build. The presence of wireless headphones means support for Bluetooth 5.0. It is also equipped with an MP3 player and FM radio.

The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio will be sold in India for Rs. 4,999 (~$63). The feature phone will be available on the Nokia website, leading retail outlets and partner online stores from September 19, 2022.
