Last year, Samsung launched the Samsung W22 in collaboration with China Telecom. For those who don’t know, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is a luxury version of the smartphone made exclusively for China.
The two companies are collaborating again to create a new device called the Samsung W23, which is likely to be a special edition of the Galaxy Fold 4.
The listing confirms that the phone has a total of five cameras, a 4320mAh battery and 5G connectivity. The device is likely to have a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The front camera will have a 10-megapixel unit and a 4-megapixel unit below the screen.
Popular tipster Ice Universe recently released a promotional poster of the upcoming Samsung W23. According to the poster, it will launch alongside the W23 Flip, which will be a standalone Galaxy Z Flip 4. Both devices are expected to feature gold hinges and the ‘Heart of the World’ logo on the back.
Since the device has been certified by TENAA, its launch could happen soon. The W23 is expected to be priced at over 16,999 yuan (~$2,640) for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model. Source
