Not so long ago we talked about the author of this experiment. Ukrainian Taras Maksymuk makes videos for YouTube in which he smashes various tools and even cars. Yes, it recently crashed into a car to test a new feature on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

  • Dropped from a height of about 1.2 meters, the Apple Watch Ultra was practically undamaged, except for a few minor scratches on its titanium case. The glass remained intact.
  • Then the Apple Watch Ultra was sealed with a jar of nails. After vigorous shaking, the situation did not change – the nails did not cause any noticeable damage.
  • The last and most interesting test was the hammer. The blogger hammered the Watch Ultra screen 5 times and none of them damaged the protective glass. On the sixth blow, the table under the clock was broken, but the glass still remained intact.
  • After 12 hits the clock turned off and TechRax was unable to turn it back on.
  • He fired two more shots and on the 14th the glass finally cracked.

As a reminder, the Apple Watch Ultra is a premium model with a larger screen and increased reliability. The 49mm body is made of titanium, and the flat sapphire glass and a special bezel protect the screen from damage during impacts.
