The iPhone 14 Pro failed to become the world’s best camera phone according to DxOMark experts – it was just missing one point.
Experts of the resource published a review about Apple’s new product, rated its camera with 146 points. That’s one point less than the Honor Magic4 Ultimate, meaning the iPhone is in second place. For comparison, on the iPhone 13 Pro Max the result is 141 points.
At the same time, if we continue to compare Apple’s new product with the Honor flagship, the iPhone 14 Pro shoots videos better (149 points against 137 points), but takes photos worse (143 points against 150 points). As a result, in terms of video quality, Apple’s new product is the best in the DxOMark rating.
It is not worth mentioning any shortcomings for such an assessment. The authors note that when shooting the sky, there is sometimes glare, sometimes the white balance may be wrong, and sometimes there may be halos around objects in the photo and video. Source
