The DxOMark laboratory has published the test results of the front camera of the new flagship iPhone 14 Pro, which is at the top of the corresponding rating. With a selfie score of 145 points, the iPhone 14 Pro was only one point higher than the Huawei P50 Pro. The newly added autofocus function and higher aperture value of the iPhone 14 Pro allowed the smartphone to take the first place.

Reviewers noted that the video from the front camera was excellent with good exposure, accurate colors and stabilization. The rating of the video was 154 points.

Photos taken from the front camera provide excellent dynamic range and exposure. Excellent details, accurate skin tones, and simulated bokeh in portrait mode are also noted.

Disadvantages noted for the iPhone 14 Pro’s selfie camera are noticeable noise in photos and videos in most cases, as well as altered and less accurate skin tones in more challenging lighting conditions, such as when the scene is backlit or in low light. Source
