Google Japan says this design is suitable for messy desks, storage, and finding the right keys while typing. The video shows many other options for using the keyboard – for example, pulling something from under the bed, measuring the height of a child or making a fishing net out of it.

Of course, most of these “advice” for use are jokes. Google will not mass produce or sell the new keyboard.
The company has also released software files for the Gboard Stick Edition on GitHub, along with schematics and drawings so you can build the keyboard yourself using a 3D printer.
