Kyocera is known for its printers. But it is also engaged in the production of branded smartphones.

And this is exactly the type of smartphone that the manufacturer presented the day before. A distinctive feature of the model, called Kids Mobile KY-41C, is the active monitoring of the user.

But it is worth noting that Kyocera considers children as potential users of this smartphone. And the phone will monitor them for the benefit of their parents.

The device reportedly lacks browsers, games, and app stores. At the same time, all the photos taken on it will be automatically sent to the parents’ phone.

They are also given the opportunity to set a specific time for when the child should return home. And about an hour before the appointed time, the smartphone begins to inform them about the location of the young user.

Sales of Kyocera Kids Mobile KY-41C are scheduled for February 2023. So far, the new product is planned to be sold only in Japan.
