Earlier this year, iQOO launched the iQOO Neo 6 in China and India. The phone has become quite popular among consumers due to its superior features and affordable price. Now, the company is reportedly preparing to ship the iQOO Neo 7, the successor to the Neo 6, in China later this month. On the eve of the official release, the phone became the subject of various sources. Second, it reveals details about battery and charging specs.

The latest spec leak comes from well-known Chinese whistleblower Panda, with new information revealing details about the iQOO Neo 7’s battery and charging. It claims that the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery and will support 120W fast charging. The Neo 7’s 120W fast charging is a significant upgrade over its predecessor with 80W charging support. Like the Neo 6, the upcoming phone will most likely not support wireless charging.

According to a recent leak, the iQOO Neo 7 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC platform. On the front, it has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 120 Hz.

In terms of optics, the device is said to have a triple camera setup consisting of a new 50MP primary camera on the back reportedly having a Sony IMX766V image sensor. The same sensor is also available on the iQOO 8 Pro. The device is also expected to have a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel portrait telephoto lens. iQOO has yet to confirm any details regarding the upcoming smartphone.
