Honor has started mocking the arrival of the Honor X40 GT smartphone in China. Now that the first teaser has been released, it looks like it will be official in a week or two. At the same time, a presentation of the X40 GT began to circulate on social networks. The visual shows that it will be a performance-oriented device.

The teaser released by the brand does not reveal anything about the Honor X40 GT. According to some reports, the device will feature Snapdragon 888 4G mobile platform.

The image of the Honor X40 GT shown above shows that it has a punch-hole display. It is not clear whether it is an LCD or an OLED panel. It has two green vertical stripes in the middle with a textured pattern on both sides. It has a round camera module that appears to house a triple camera unit and LED flash. At the center of the camera module is the “GT” branding.

The Honor X40 GT is likely to be positioned higher than existing X40 series models such as the Honor X40 and Honor X40i. Hopefully, rumors will reveal more details about the X40 GT in the coming days.

In related news, Honor is working on Magic 5 series flagship phones that are likely to have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The series is likely to include Magic 5 and Magic 5 Pro phones. Honor is expected to announce the Magic 5 series in March or April 2023. For this year, the company may launch the Honor Magic V2 in December this year. The foldable phone is expected to get Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor and Magic UI 7.0.
