Honor introduced the Honor X40 in September. Within a month, the brand is preparing to launch another X series smartphone. The upcoming device is called Honor X40 GT. As the name suggests, it is geared towards gamers. The phone is scheduled to launch this week.

The Hono X40 GT will be unveiled on October 13. The conference will begin at 19:30 GMT+8. It will be broadcast live on Weibo and other popular Chinese video streaming platforms.

The chipset and design of the phone has been officially revealed. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The Moba is said to offer average frame rates of 115.07 fps, 89.71 fps and 56.33 fps for casual mobile and RPG games, respectively.

According to official images and leaked live images, the design of the HonorX40 GT will be based on the Honor X40. This means it will have the iconic circular camera ring, but the color scheme will be different. It will come in carbon-like black with green accents.

The front of the smartphone will be occupied by a perforated centered screen. Digital Chat Station says the display will be LCD, not OLED like the vanilla model. The refresh rate of the screen can be at least 120 Hz. Finally, according to 3C, the phone will support 66W fast wired charging. With just a few days to launch, we can’t wait to learn more about the Honor X40 GT.
