The curse of the Google Pixel does not seem to pass by the new smartphones. The Pixel 7 has just had time to hit the market, and data on the first serious issue has already surfaced. A senior technical editor at XDA-Developers, who has been using the Pixel 7 Pro since the beginning of the week, noted that the device consumes a lot of energy at or near maximum screen brightness. Overall, the Pixel 7 Pro has better battery life than its predecessor, but for some reason, the smartphone starts to drain very quickly when the brightness is increased strongly. Disproportionately faster than evacuation under other conditions.

To make it clearer, the source gives the following example: the phone dropped to 50% in three hours of use in medium brightness and 10% in 15 minutes in bright sunlight. It turns out that the problem isn’t just on this Pixel 7 Pro instance. Other XDA members have confirmed that they are experiencing the same issues.
