The foldable smartphone Google Pixel Fold will receive screens manufactured by Samsung. This is reported by the 91mobiles portal.
The source of the portal claims that the Google Pixel Fold, codenamed Felix, will be equipped with external and internal Samsung displays. The internal screen will have a resolution of 1840×2208. Its dimensions will be 123×148 mm. The maximum brightness of the screen will reach 1200 nits, while the average brightness will be equal to 800 nits. Pixel Fold’s internal screen will receive support for high image refresh rate.
It was also known that the Pixel Fold will be equipped with five cameras. The main sensor will be Sony IMX787 at 64 MP, to which an ultra-wide-angle module IMX386 with a resolution of 12 MP and a telephoto lens S5K3J1 at 10.5 MP will be added. It is estimated that the internal display will have an IMX355 selfie camera with 8 MP resolution, while the external display will get the S5K3J1.
According to initial leaks, the company’s Tensor G2 chipset will be responsible for the performance on the company’s new Google smartphone.
The introduction of the powerful Google Pixel Fold is rumored to take place in the first half of 2023.
