A few months ago, OnePlus started testing Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 for the OnePlus 9RT through a closed beta program. This program had a limited number of participants who could join to try out the new software. Now, the company has finally launched the device’s open beta program, allowing any willing OnePlus 9RT owner to experience Android 13 on their device. The update is currently in development in India and will soon be available in other regions.

If you want to try it, make sure your 9RT is running the latest OxygenOS 12 (C.07) before applying the update. It should also have 5.5 GB of free memory and at least 30% battery capacity. Beta builds are often not as reliable as official builds and often have bugs that spoil the user experience, so it is recommended to avoid using them on large devices.

Some of the known OnePlus 9RT bugs include Eye Comfort mode not being activated in certain scenarios and time on the lock screen not displaying properly after dynamic system wallpaper is changed. You can check the detailed beta build changelog below.
