Apple’s new iPhone 14 smartphones proved to be more durable in battery tests than Google and Samsung’s flagship rivals. This was reported in a YouTube video of the PhoneArena post.

Journalists compared the battery life of the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Google Pixel 6 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Each of the gadgets was tested twice – the uptime in the browser and the time of continuous playback of videos on YouTube.

During initial testing, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max outperformed other mobile devices. They worked for 16 hours 18 minutes and 19 hours and 5 minutes, respectively. The Pixel 7 Pro, for example, was able to run in the browser for two less, 14 hours and 9 minutes. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra scored in 13 hours 17 minutes.

In the second test, Apple’s flagships also outperformed the competition. The video viewing time was exactly 11 hours and 9 hours 39 minutes, respectively. However, in this category, the Pixel 7 was close to Apple’s device, reaching 9 hours and 13 minutes. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra showed much more modest indicators running at 7 hours and 27 minutes.

Journalists noted that the Cupertino-based company’s smartphones, despite the results, have batteries with the smallest capacity reserve compared to their competitors.
