Apple is known for not allowing third-party interference with its products and not making them available to other manufacturers. Thus, operating systems are installed only on their own devices – smartphones, tablets, laptops, PCs, etc. That’s why netizens were excited to see macOS on the laptop of the company that traditionally releases them on Windows.

What happened?

The ad posted on Reddit shows “the perfect laptop for all the essential aspects of your business.” Gmail is displayed on the screen. But if you look closely at the interface, you can see that it’s not Windows.

At the top of the screen you can see the Menu bar, which is a horizontal strip similar to the taskbar in the Microsoft operating system, but with a different logic of interaction and functionality. You can even see the Apple logo in the low quality image.

Of course, such a thing cannot happen. Probably the reason for such confusion is the carelessness of the designer who placed the wrong screenshot in the ad image.

Despite this, some users were already amused and joked that they were glad that HP knew macOS laptops better than Windows.
