Sales of this model started at $205 today for the version with 6GB RAM and 128GB flash memory, while the smartphone was offered at $215 at launch.
The Honor X40 uses a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 45° bending angle. Displays 1.07 billion color tones and has a brightness of 800 cd/m2. The screen has received a protection system against the blue part of the light spectrum and has been certified by TÜV Rheinland. The fingerprint sensor is located under the surface of the screen.
Honor X40 is equipped with a single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 system, a built-in battery with a capacity of 5100 mAh and supports fast wired charging with a power of 40 W. Despite the large battery, the Honor X40 is only 7.9mm thick and weighs 172 grams.
The main camera received sensors with a resolution of 50 and 2 MP, the front camera is 8 megapixels. Honor X40 has its own noise reduction algorithm with two microphones, which eliminates ambient noise and makes the interlocutor’s voice clearer.
