Tomorrow (October 27), Redmi will finally unveil its Redmi Note 12 series smartphones. To be more specific, the company is expected to announce the Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Note 12 Explorer at tomorrow’s event. Today, the company has released an official confirmation regarding the screens of the Redmi Note 12 Pro models.

The poster clearly shows that the Redmi Note 12 Pro series will feature a flat AMOLED display with a hole in the top. The screen will have a diamond-shaped pixel arrangement for a clearer and better view. The display will have features such as 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and 10,000 levels of dimming. It will also provide better protection of the eyes from harmful blue rays.

Images of the Redmi Note 12 Pro series released by the brand confirm that it will feature a pair of speaker grilles (top and bottom) for stereo output. The top edge of the device also has a 3.5mm audio jack, IR amplifier and microphone. The bottom of the device houses the speaker grille, as well as the USB-C port, microphone and SIM card slot. Although it is not clear yet, it seems that the Note 12 family will be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro will be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS support. On the other hand, Note 12 Pro+ will have a 200-megapixel Samsung HPX primary camera with OIS support. Both devices are expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery. The Pro model is expected to support 67W fast charging, while the Pro+ model is expected to support 120W fast charging.

It is unclear whether the Redmi Note 12 Explorer edition will have a curved or flat OLED panel. This model is expected to have a 200MP Samsung HPX camera and 210W fast charging. All phones in the line will have the Dimensity 1080 chipset.
