OnePlus is scheduled to launch the OnePlus 10R in the Indian market on April 28. We know that this will be an updated model of the OnePlus Ace that will launch in China on April 21. Since this is a name change, the phone is expected to be equipped with the same chipset as the Ace but this is the latest technology and we learn that the phone may come with a modified chipset in the Indian market.
The brand has teased the OnePlus 10R and it is said to launch with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset. This is different from the Max Dimensity 8100 that comes with the OnePlus Ace. It is currently unclear what the exact difference is between the Max and Max chipsets.
Max Dimensity 8100 is an octa-core chipset with four high-performance Cortex-A78 cores operating at a maximum frequency of 2.75 GHz. The chipset also has 4 affordable Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0 GHz. Equipped with Mali-G610 MC6 graphics processor and hybrid MediaTek 580 processor.
Coming back to the OnePlus 10R, it was recently confirmed that the phone will come with 150-watt fast-charging SuperVOOC and a 4500mAh battery. The phone is expected to charge from 0% to 100% in less than 17 minutes.
Other specs of the phone have been leaked before. The device will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED-E4 display with Full-HD+ resolution. It will have a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10 + support. The device is expected to have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of internal UFS 3.1 memory. It will be equipped with a 50 MP triple camera and a 16 MP selfie camera. Finally, OxygenOS is expected to appear above Android 12.
