Budget smartphone OPPO A17 presented in Europe. It was introduced not so long ago in Malaysia and India. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC processor along with 4GB of RAM. The OPPO A17 also has a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Let’s take a closer look at the features and prices of the new tube.

The OPPO A17 features a 6.56-inch HD+ (720×1612 pixels) LCD display with a refresh rate of up to 60Hz and a body-to-screen ratio of 89.8 percent. The panel has a pixel density of 269 ppi and a touch sampling frequency of 60 Hz. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable up to 1TB supported via microSD card) under the hood. The phone also comes with 4GB of additional virtual RAM.

In terms of cameras, the Oppo A17 has a dual primary camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a 5 megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that charges via a micro USB port (it still has it, yes). The smartphone also has an IPX4 waterproof rating. The OPPO A17 measures 164.2×75.6×8.3 mm and weighs approximately 189 grams. Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS/A-GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The OPPO A17 was launched in Europe at a price of 176 euros. It comes in a single 4GB+64GB model and is available in two colors – Blue and Black. The smartphone also has an orange color variant, but it has not reached the old continent. It is available from the Dutch division of Mediamarkt and other major retailers.
