The Redmi Note 12 5G launched in China has serial number 22101317C. The abbreviated model number of the device is M17. As seen below, a new POCO phone with model number 22111317PI has appeared in the Bureau of Indian Standards database.
The 22111317PI device has the same abbreviated M17 model number as the Redmi Note 12 5G. Hence, it looks like the device will be renamed POCO phone in India. The model number also hints that the device will launch in the country in November. There is a possibility that the device is a POCO M5 5G series phone.
