Vivo X90 Pro+ gets 3C certification with 80W charging

The Vivo X90 series will reportedly debut later this year and a day before one of the models in the line receives mandatory 3C certification in China. The device carries the model number V2227A, which is believed to be related to the high-end model Vivo X90 Pro+.

Vivo X90 Pro+ with model number V2227A has been certified on the Chinese website 3C. The listing shows up to 80W fast charging support. The smartphone is also listed with 5G connectivity. Vivo is expected to launch the X90 series soon. According to reports, the company will launch the new line by the end of this year. Official confirmation should come very soon.

Vivo X90 Pro+ specs (rumors)

A recent report by TechGoing has revealed all the features of the upcoming Vivo X90 Pro+. According to the publication, the phone will be equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED E6 display manufactured by Samsung. The panel will support 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 1440Hz high-frequency dimming.

The Vivo X90 Pro+ will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and the report says there will be no Dimensity chipset variant. The other two smartphones in the series – X90 and X90 Pro – will reportedly be equipped with the Dimensity 9200 processor.

For photography, the smartphone will be equipped with four cameras with a 50-megapixel 1-inch Sony IMX989V camera sensor. There will also be a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX578 portrait lens and an OmniVision OV64A periscopic zoom.

The Vivo X90 Pro+ is said to be equipped with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It is expected to have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The device will be backed by a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
