According to reports, the company is working on the upcoming Redmi K60 series, which is expected to include at least three smartphones. Today, the vanilla Redmi K60 has received China’s 3C certification, hinting that it will launch soon.
As I noticed at first Anvin (Twitter @ZionsAnvin), a Redmi smartphone with model number 23013RK75C has appeared on China’s 3C certification website. This phone is believed to be the vanilla Redmi K60. The list also suggests that this alleged phone will have 67W fast charging support.
The Redmi K60 series will reportedly include at least three models such as the Redmi K60, K60 Pro, and K60 Gaming. Vanilla Redmi K60 can run on Dimensity 8200 processor.
The phone is said to have a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary camera and a flat AMOLED display with punch-hole design. It may have a 5,500mAh battery and support 67W fast charging. On the other hand, the K60 Pro will likely have a better chipset, an improved camera and especially fast charging. Gaming K60 may have a 2K AMOLED panel.
The company has yet to confirm any details regarding the upcoming series. However, it is said to launch in China in the first quarter of 2023. Some K60 series devices may be rebranded worldwide as POCO devices.
