Almost all the leading Android smartphone brands have been releasing the stable Android 13 update for their phones for a few weeks now. However, Xiaomi released the update to its first device only today. Xiaomi 12 Pro is the first Xiaomi phone to receive the Android 13 stable update.

Xiaomi has started rolling out the Android 13 stable update to Xiaomi 12 Pro users in China. The update is currently in stable beta. This means it’s only available to a select few users as part of the initial bulk distribution.

The latest smartphone software update comes with a build number V13.2.4.0.TLBCNXM. It brings MIUI version to 13.2 and security patch level to October 2022. If there are no issues with the build, the update will be available to more users in the coming days. The company may also release for international variants.

We had long hoped that Xiaomi would improve its mobile software (MIUI). It seems that the company has not yet taken the necessary steps. Other Chinese brands like Oppo have managed to roll out the stable Android 13 update to many devices around the world. Xiaomi has just started distribution.
