Ahead of the highly anticipated Realme 10 5G, Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro+ models that will be launched in China next week, the manufacturer introduced its new smartphone lineup at a global launch event this morning (November 9). Realme 10, which entered the international market, was introduced. Compared to its predecessor, Realme 9 4G, the manufacturer no longer relies on a chipset from Qualcomm, but the Helio G99 from MediaTek. It is a 4G SoC with an octa-core processor clocked up to 2.2GHz.

Realme 10 does not offer 5G support, but according to the manufacturer, it has 25% more processor performance and 20% less power consumption than its predecessor Snapdragon 680. This is combined with up to 8GB of physical and up to 8GB of virtual RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. If desired, the storage can be expanded up to 1 TB using microSD.

The Realme 10 Super AMOLED display measures 6.4 inches and has a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels (FHD+) and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The sampling frequency is specified as 360 Hz, the maximum brightness is 1000 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The selfie camera with a resolution of 16 MP is again placed in a small cutout in the upper left.

On the back, the dual camera setup houses only a 50MP primary camera based on the 1/2.76-inch JN1 sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. There is no wide-angle lens above. As with the previous model, the battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh. According to the manufacturer, at a charging speed of 33 W, the device is half charged in 28 minutes.

The new Realme 10 is available in different storage configurations. It starts at $229 for 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. A 4+128 GB smartphone will cost $249, 6+128 GB – $269. You will have to pay $279 for the version with 8GB RAM and 128GB flash memory, and $299 for 256GB storage.
