JerryRigEverything’s latest structural integrity test for the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro has revealed its fragility. It follows the trajectory of its predecessor, the ROG Phone 5 Pro, which also failed JerryRigEverything’s previous test.

ROG Phone 6 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, a 6000mAh battery, and a bulky chassis with a complete cooling system. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 18GB of RAM, but the flagship phone’s look is very deep.

ROG Phone 6 Pro has an impressive screen refresh rate of 165 Hz. The flagship has an additional RGB display and 3.5mm audio jack on the rear panel. As a gaming smartphone, you’d expect the ROG Phone 6 Pro to pass integrity tests like JerryRigEverything.

During testing, the phone’s back panel quickly cracked during the bend test, as did the previous model. This was due to the dual battery setup that provided 65W fast charging. The secondary, horizontally oriented USB Type-C port also appears to be another weak spot in the frame.
