As the launch time of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series approaches, the internet is flooded with sources and rumors about this flagship smartphone series. A comparison of a 16x cropped sample photo of the Galaxy S23 Ultra with a 16x magnified photo taken with the S22 Ultra was recently spotted online. Now a blinded image comparison of the S23 Ultra, Pixel 7 Pro and S22 Ultra has surfaced.

Alongside the enlarged photo of the S23 Ultra, the blind camera test between the S23 Ultra, Pixel 7 Pro and S22 Ultra has also been published by popular leakster Insider Ice Universe.

Ice Universe shared three photos of the same subject (Pumpkin) on Weibo and asked their followers to pick the best. Without saying anything about which photo was taken with which smartphone, most of its subscribers actually considered it the best first photo taken with a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone.

Compared to the S22 Ultra, this is not surprising as it is the successor to the S23 Ultra and will have a 200MP camera compared to a 108MP sensor. However, it’s an impressive feat compared to the Pixel 7 Pro as it’s one of the best camera phones on the market and highly praised by users. Also, Pixel 7 Pro is in second place with 147 points in DXOMARK’s best camera smartphones list.

There is no doubt that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be one of the best smartphones in terms of camera when it launches as Samsung’s first 200MP phone. This 200MP S23 Ultra camera is said to have 0.6µm pixels on a 1/1.3-inch sensor with f/1.7 aperture on the front.
