Vivo X90 flagship phones are one of the most anticipated phones this year. Rumor has it they were supposed to be the first devices to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9200 single-chip systems, and that’s how it all turned out. Vivo X90, the base model of the series, is the world’s first Dimensity 9200 phone.

The announcement of the phone began with an overview of the single crystal system, although its parameters are well known. According to official data, Vivo X90 scores 1.284 million on AnTuTu. That is, it is faster than the flagships in the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The company supplemented the SoC with a high-quality cooling system with an evaporation chamber with an area of ​​​​4313 mm.2.

Along with the Dimensity 9200, the company’s V2 chip works as part of the hardware platform. It has 45 MB of its own SRAM memory and is characterized by a special performance of 16.3 TOPS/W. It is used for a number of tasks. Yes, it is used to accelerate AI applications, uses MEMC technology and provides HDR image processing. The amount of RAM is 8-12 GB, the amount of internal flash memory – 128, 256 or 512 GB.

The Zess main camera is represented by three sensors. The main resolution is 50 MP. Additional – 12 megapixels (Sony IMX663). One works with a wide-angle lens and the other with a portrait lens with a focal length of 50mm (2x zoom is achieved through it).

Vivo X90 received an AMOLED BOE Q9 display with a diagonal of 6.78 inches, 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz frame rate and 1300 cd/m2 maximum brightness. The PWM control frequency is 2160 MHz and the DeltaE value is less than one. Recessed front camera – with a sensor with a resolution of 32 MP.

Vivo X90 runs on Android 13 with the proprietary OriginOS 3 interface. The device has a 4810mAh battery with 120W fast charging support (the battery charges 50% in 8 minutes). There’s also an NFC chip and protection against dust and water based on IP64 rating.
