Along with the Oppo Reno9 and Reno9 Pro models, the company’s new flagship Oppo Reno9 Pro+ was officially introduced today. The SoC is built on Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and actually got up to 16GB of RAM in the base version with 256GB of internal memory. It has already been written that other smartphones, even flagships, often do not have such a large amount of RAM in younger models – the Oppo Reno9 Pro+ turned out to be one of a kind. The model has a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412×1080 pixels (Full HD+) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Young representatives of the series, Reno9 and Reno9 Pro, also received a similar screen.

Oppo Reno9 Pro+ received a 32 MP Sony IMX709 front camera with autofocus and a 50 MP Sony IMX890 main camera with optical image stabilization and additional modules: 8 MP and 2 MP wide-angle for macro photography. The company states that the MariSilicon X NPU image processing processor will provide brighter and clearer pictures in low light conditions. Oppo Reno9 Pro+ can also record 4K video at 60 frames per second. The novelty runs on the Android 13 operating system with the ColorOS 13 interface.

The flagship smartphone received an even larger battery than its smaller brothers – 4700 mAh, its fast charging is also more powerful – 80 W. Stereo speakers were another difference of the device. Other features include support for two SIM cards, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, a USB-C connector and a fingerprint sensor. The Oppo Reno9 Pro+ will go on sale on December 2 in China for 3,999 yuan (about $559) for the 16GB/256GB model and 4,399 yuan (about $615) for the 16GB/512GB model.
