Honor recently launched Honor 80 series smartphones like Honor 80 SE, Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro in China. It seems that the company is planning to launch a new phone in the Honor 80 series, called the Honor 80 GT. The device is expected to launch in December 2022. According to a Chinese source, the Honor 80 GT will come with a flat screen. As a reminder, all Honor 80, 80 SE and 80 Pro are equipped with OLED panels with curved edges.

The gaming-focused Honor 80 GT will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 mobile platform. There is no information about the other technical specifications of the Honor 80 GT, except that it will be released in December. There is a possibility that the 80 GT will have a unique rear design like the Snapdragon 888 powered Honor X40 GT.

The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip is also present in the recently launched Honor 80 Pro. It has a 6.78-inch OLED display with a pill-shaped camera hole. The screen with curved edges has a resolution of 1224 x 2700 pixels. It comes pre-installed with Android 12 operating system based on Magic UI 7. The phone is equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The 80 Pro has dual selfie cameras of 50MP + 2MP. It has a 160-megapixel primary camera on the back, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The device is equipped with a 4800mAh battery with 66W fast charging. For security, the 80 Pro is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
